New England Pride Scholarship

The primary mission of the Youth New Englands is to provide competitive opportunities for youth wrestlers to test their mettle against New England’s best. In a larger sense, the Youth New Englands strives to promote the sport of wrestling by supporting New England wrestlers beyond the youth level. With this in mind, the New England Pride Scholarship Awards have been created to recognize graduating high school seniors who are moving on to collegiate wrestling.

High school seniors who intend to wrestle in college, and who formerly competed in the Youth New Englands, are encouraged to apply for a scholarship award. In order to be considered for a NE Pride Scholarship Award, you must complete the scholarship application by clicking this button:

*Applications must be submitted by February 15, 2024

Ultimately, the NE Pride Scholarship program aims to be an incentive for collegiate wrestlers to continue their athletic careers, acquire a meaningful education, and eventually give back to the sport of wrestling by supporting future generations of New England wrestlers.  Since 2017, the NE Pride Scholarships has awarded more than $20,000 in scholarships to deserving wrestlers from New England.

Below are some inspiring words from the 2023 NE Pride Scholarship recipients and their supporters that remind us why we do this.
